Backup and replacement tablets

Moving to a new tablet

Install CryoIndex on the replacement tablet and restore the newest complete backup. Restoring replaces the new tablet’s inventory; it does not modify the old tablet.

1. Create one final backup from the old tablet if it is available.
2. Install an equal or newer CryoIndex version on the replacement tablet.
3. Open Settings → Backup → Restore and select the .cix-backup file.
4. Read the validation summary and confirm the restore.
5. Check several known vials, users and tank layouts before putting the tablet into service.
