Restoring an automatic copy after a mistake

CryoIndex keeps automatic copies on the tablet for recovery after a bad import or a change someone regrets. They are a local safety net, not a substitute for an external backup.

1. Open Settings → Data → Back up or restore.
2. Scroll to On this tablet. Copies are shown by date; a copy taken immediately before a restore is labeled that way.
3. Choose Restore beside the moment you want to return to and review the summary.
4. Confirm only after checking the date and contents. Restoring replaces the current inventory; it does not merge records.
5. Afterward, verify several known vials, users and storage locations.
